Bachata is a simple but sensual dance born in the Dominican Republic. Its Caribbean origins can be found in the sweet and melodic rhythm of the music and in the romantic movements. The essence of this dance lies in the sensual movement of the pelvis, originally devoid of figures except for a few turns, danced on the spot where the dancers move tightly in perfect synchrony. The delicacy of the dance and the melody make it appreciated by any person of any age. Fusion and Sensual always derive from traditional Dominican Bachata, and in recent years it has become one of the most appreciated and studied styles.
